And this picture was taken on Wednesday morning, February 27, when he turned nine months old. Quite a change, huh? Well, some things haven't changed. He still loves to take naps on his mommy :) and Mommy still loves lounging around in her elastic waisted PJs ;) But lots of other things have changed (including my hair being shorter and darker, and my body is 40lbs. lighter...ah, the rewards of breastfeeding). Just look at that wild hair of his! and those long legs! His skin is not nearly as dark as it was, when he was born. Although he still looks like a mini version of his daddy, he now has the skin color of his mommy. Trust me, that's the only thing he has that resembles me, and I don't mind one bit ;)
Grandpa and Gramma met us at Target and bought the Future David Beckham his first soccer ball. He sqealed with excitement, when Daddy and I played with him :)

Somehow Jadon's little mind just knew he was all grown up, once he turned nine months old. I kid you not, the little monster came out in him just this week! He's now completely uncontainable!!! I can't keep up with him any longer. He's into everything! Last week, he discovered he could bang the doors on the kitchen cabinets. This week, he's pulling the pots and pans out! Jamie calls him the "Pamper Chef." ;) He also learned to pull the DVDs and anything else down from the entertainment center. Last night, he crawled from one side of the house to the other four times after 10pm, just to get to his daddy who was busy fixing a running toilet. As soon as Jamie was finished, Jadon pulled on his pant let and stood up, looking at him desperately. "Pick me up, Daddy!"
And for the first time, this week he's started throwing little mini fits, when we attempt to redirect him away from things he shouldn't be in. Oh my! Here he is enjoying his new found treasure under the cabinets:
And here he is enjoying watching his friend in the mirror at Old Navy ;) Pay attention to the actual bubbles he blows. I have no idea how he does that, but it's a daily occurance. So funny!
Jadon, the last nine months have been the greatest, most blessed days of my life! I love you more than words could ever express. Thank you, Lord, for choosing me to be Jadon's mommy :)
