"Hurry up, Mommy! You know I'm going to cry within 30 seconds."
"Whoa! Enough with the flashes! They're making me cross-eyed!"
Macy continues to sleep through the night...and the day too, for that matter. She is generally awake no more than 3-4 hours/day, and rarely more than an hour at a time. I thought that would have changed by now, but she's still loving to snooze. The other night, I honestly had to wake her up to eat, after sleeping about six hours straight, because I NEEDED to nurse her!
She still is not getting to spend much time in her swing (1) because she still usually cries, when we put her in it, but mainly (2) because we fear Jadon will push her so hard she'll fly out of the seat or he'll hit her with a toy :/ And sadly, we're still dealing with poop-up-the-back issues :/ This little girl is explosive! We consider it a good day, if we don't have to wash one of her outfits or blankets.
Macy is spending less of her awake time crying. She is much more focused, when she looks at us now, though she still does the newborn crossed eyes thing sometimes. She LOVES looking up at the lights on the ceiling in the kitchen, and tonight she fell asleep on her Daddy's shoulder, while he was walking her around in there. He said it was "the highlight" of his day :) Sucha sweet Daddy we have :)
Really there isn't much else new to report on a three week old who sleeps all of the time. That's all of the updates on Miss Macy Bleu...until next week?
