So Far, This Is What I Know

Macy is NOT so fond of sitting in her swing to get her picture taken (minus one time last week for like 5 seconds).

Other things about her:
---she has the MOST ADORABLE dimple on her left cheek (yes, only the left)
---she has an "angel kiss" birthmark on her right eyelid (like a "stork bite," but on her eyelid...a stork carrying a baby by her eye is not peaceful thought, so they call it an angel kiss); according to the doctor, it will disappear by the time she is 2 years old (or sooner)
---she has REALLY long feet
---she was born with fingernails long enough to French manicure and hair long enough to put in a ponytail (swear!)
---she has fine, black hair all over her shoulders and back...like a little monkey (Jadon had this on his shoulders too, but not his back)
---she has slept thru the night, since her third day home from the hospital, BUT she has to be sleeping right next to her Mommy (WAY TOO MUCH information, but she actually has to have her face next to my breast...it's really sweet to wake up to); so she and I sleep on the couch, while Daddy and Jadon are in the bed...oh how I miss the bed! We'll get there again one day, right? For now, I prefer sleep :)
---for the first 10 days of her life, she slept 22+ hours per day; for the last few days, she has slept about 18 hours/day;
---when she is awake, she is usually crying...she wants to use Mommy as a pacifier!!! Just like Jadon!!! We're trying to get her to take a pacifier, but she's not so keen on it still...neither was Jadon :/
---her umbilical cord fell off today (two weeks old!), so now she can get a regular bath :)
---she HATES getting wet! :/
---she has RUINED several outfits this week...nearly 1-2/day, including changing pads! Her poop is explosively runny!
---her poop was icky-poo blackish (like chocolate syrup) for much longer than I thought it would be (like 7 days?), and now it is insanely crazy bright orange (Jadon's was always yellow)
---although she definitely has Filipino characteristics (black hair, darker skin, etc.), there is a picture of my mom in elementary school that reminds me of her
---I REALLY HOPE she has blue eyes (can ONE of my children have something of mine???), but I think they are already turning golden brown...it will take 6 months to know for sure though
---she likes to stare at the ceiling fan, even though it isn't turned on and she can only clearly see things up to 18" in front of her...the fan is like 12 feet away...hmmm
---we have learned that you CAN ABSOLUTELY love a second child as much as the first, though I definitely believe it is in a different way (i.e. Jadon's my boy, Macy's my girl; Jadon's my first born, Macy's my baby)
---I daydream about watching her grow, what she will look like, what her giggle will sound like, what will make her first smile (in a few weeks!), etc. etc.
---We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE you, Macy Bleu!
