You know the saying about kids in candy store. Most kids are in awe of the bright colors. You can see the gluttony in their eyes, as they seek to devour every piece of sticky goodness they can hold in their chubby little palms. You know within minutes of letting them go, there would be a mixture of sugar, slobber and fuzzy nothings outlining their tiny, pink mouths...blue and green-tinged tongues, suckers half-eaten, gummy worms torn in two. You get the picture.I kid you not, Jadon would rather be in our garage or in the tool section at Lowe's than any candy store on any day of the week, any time of the day! This is his candy store:
and so is this:
"Scissors," he asked.
"Yes, I suppose those are scissors, buddy."
He's also a HUGE FAN of watching Daddy cut the grass outside. He stands with his nose to each window in the house, running from room to room to watch Jamie mow. Then he'll turn to me, smiling and tell me a story about "Daddah" and the "gass." Everytime he gets to the flashcard that has grass on it, he tells me the same story over and over. The kid LOVES tools. Wonder if he'll be as excited, once Daddy is ready to hand over the landscaping duties to him in about 12 years???
"Ammahh!" (*translation = "I'll be bahck!")
