Daddy is 33

This year the theme is "Keep it simple." With two babies under two to care for (and one of them nursing), it's nearly impossible to plan anything outside of the house right now. So Jamie ran out and got himself a burrito from Moe's ($5.00 combo on Moe's Mondays), while Jadon napped and Macy nursed...and nursed...and nursed some more! Finally around 8pm, I was able to stop nursing and changing diapers long enough to make him a few dozen cupcakes (they cook faster and are easier to ice than a cake). Time management is key these days ;)

We likely may have ventured out somewhere just to get out of the house on his birthday, but it has been so cold here (with highs in the high 30s???). I have no heat in my car (the 4-door), and I do not trust Jadon sitting so close to Macy in the back of Jamie's car (the 2-door), besides that, it's just a little too cold for our now well-adapted Southern blood ;) Nothing exciting...sorry James. Your b-day came and went just like mine :/ But we love you very, very much! And I know you know that we already have everything that matters anyway...this was just the icing on the cake (literally):

sometimes birthdays at home are the best anyway...especially when you have two cutie pie kids and a beautiful wife to share them with :)

and sometimes an evening out without those two cutie pies, when your wife actually wears non-elastic waisted pants would be a great present also...haha ;)
