She's A Keeper

Yesterday afternoon, Jamie and I spent some time with Macy by ourselves, while Jadon napped at his Gramma and Grandpa's. Since it was quiet and safe in the car without her boisterous big brother, I decided to take some pics and video of her. She's such a sweet baby!

She is becoming so much more aware of her surroundings, and LOVED the lights and ceiling fans at the mall. She became mesmerized by them, as soon as we walked out of a store! She could be crying or getting fussy, but as soon as she saw the ceiling, she would just stare. Too bad for us, our ceilings at home don't have near the effect :/ But she is honestly becoming fun, fun, fun :)

This is an entirely different post, but I really feel like we've finally bonded with her to the point that we have Jadon. With Jadon, I think we bonded immediately. With Miss Macy Bleu maybe there was a sense of awe that we took for granted and felt like we already knew what to expect, so she was more like (and this sounds not the way it is meant I'm sure)...a puppy (???) in our house. She didn't do much---eat, sleep, poop...eat, sleep, poop. We've seen all of the baby poop we ever need to (especially after the blow-out she had today! Whew!), so nothing new there. Breastfeeding? Been there, done that, and it is SO time-consuming!

But now...NOW she is starting to (1) actually wake up to interact with us, but mainly (2) show her own personality, and she is CUTE with a capital C! Although she does still cry a good bit, when she's awake, she has started to smile :) :) :) And as soon as I can be a little faster with my camera, you'll get to see her famous gummy grin :)

So what I'm sayin' is---Despite the fact that she's losing her hair, we've decided to keep her! :)
