Macy sits in envy, as her big brother plays with shiny cars and colors with crayons. Ironically, he throws several fits each day to hold her toys and accessories (i.e. rattles, teething rings, exersaucer, and bottles). He asks to "hold her" everyday, and thinks he can "ride her" the same way he does Grandpa's knee. She smiles from ear to ear at any attention he gives her. Even when they are so very young, they are figuring out the parts of the other that they will take, in order to make a more perfect self. They are clearly forming a bond that will last all of the days of their lives, and Jamie and I have a front row seat. What a blessing!

Growing on Each Other
Some of the very best parts of our day are watching these two little cuties learn about each other. They are CONSTANTLY exploring what the other one is all about. Jadon laughs at her more times a day than we could count. Macy lights up, everytime he comes near her. Jadon watches every interaction she has with Mommy and Daddy, often in envy of the attention she gets for doing the simplest of things, like crawling. He's been showing us how well he can do that too these last few weeks ;)
