We've struggled a few times in the last couple of months to get Jadon to take a nap, so when the weather is nice and sunny, we've decided to just take him out and let him play, rather than frustrate ourselves and have to keep going into the bedroom to tell him to get back into bed. This little boy could talk and talk for HOURS, before he will fall asleep sometimes. He doesn't really mind being in the bedroom, but if he doesn't nap, we are surely in for a troublesome afternoon. There have been days lately, when he has been in the bedroom talking away from 1pm-3pm, only to finally take a nap from 3pm-6pm. RE-READ: Our kid is taking up half of our lives, just to do naptime!!!
Thankfully there are days we can just go hang out at the beach and let him play, skip naptime, send him to bed at 8pm and have quiet for the next 12-13 hours. Oh wait, that would be the case, but we have another baby to contend with. Ha! Very little peace and quiet in this house, but lots of fun times with sweet, little faces :)

This little man is ALL about seashells! He had to bring them all home and named them Daddy, Momma and Sister haha :P

And the runny noses we are now dealing with (three days later) somehow came from this trip to the beach. As soon as we started to walk to the car, the snot started running from Jadon's nose, and has yet to stop :/ Poor, poor Macy Bleu. This is their THIRD bout of runny noses in the last six weeks or so! Geez!
