and Macy threw up the egg she had for breakfast...
so Jadon decided to play cars in it...Yum! (I know. Gag.)
Seriously?!?
Not to be outdone, Macy decided to put some in her hair."Ahhh. she needs a baff." And she totally peed on the bathroom floor beforehand.
Thankfully, there was no stomach bug. No tummy aches. Macy had apparently been gnawing on her hand, since she's teething and just accidentally gagged herself. Jamie and I were right there in the kitchen, but she had her back to us. She didn't make a peep. We knew something was up, when Jadon let out his "oh, man, this is hilarious," pure devious behavior laugh. Running his trucks through EGG PUKE!!! Goodness!
So no gastrointestinal issues, but later that afternoon, Jadon did start having a runny nose, followed by a fever. He acted pretty normal, but his poor little eyes made him look so under the weather. He also fell asleep on his own in the living room, which NEVER happens! I gave him two doses of Motrin in 48 hours, and he's almost back to normal, minus a stuffy nose. Macy, on the other hand, is keeping Kleenex in business! Poor, poor girl :( She's still sweet and smiley and has an appetite, thankfully. I'm guessing she will be just fine in another 24 hours or so.
I love taking care of my babies, even though I sometimes get dry, crusty snot on my black shirts. I'd rather be in my PJs with them, rocking them, reading to them, cleaning up their constant messes than shopping for new clothes or getting my hair done. I just love being a mommy. I can't imagine a day existed without them. Sounds cliche and mushy, but it's so true. They light our world. Just look at them! Jamie said to me, when looking at these pics, "They're the cutest brother and sister ever!" :)
