January in South Carolina

It was such a nice day today! Jamie and I decided to take Jadon to walk around Broadway at the Beach. It was so nice to feel the warmth of the sunshine :) Jadon had such a fun time! He loved looking at the waterfalls and fountains at Ripley's Aquarium, listening to the music play as we strolled him along, watching the employees sing and dance to "Splish Splash" at Johnny Rockets, and seeing the seagulls fly above us.

Jadon rarely falls asleep (okay...NEVER) without his mommy nursing him for at least a few minutes, but the breeze and easy listening music put him in a zone after a while ;) As Jamie pushed him in the stroller, the sun would cause him to close his eyes every now and then. The rays finally caused his drowsy, little eyes to remain closed for over an hour! He snoozed at Starbucks, while Mommy and Daddy read the newspaper and shared a coffee.

Thank God for the simplest blessings, like a quiet hour with my husband, warm weather in January, and the most beautiful baby boy napping peacefully alongside us. Today was a good day :)

Prayer

Father, I ask You to bless my family, friends, relatives and those that I care deeply for who are reading this right now. Show them a new revelation of Your love and power. Holy Spirit, I ask You to minister to their spirit at this very moment. Where there is pain, give them Your peace and mercy. Where there is self-doubt, release a renewed confidence through Your grace. Where there is need, I ask you to fulfill their needs. Bless their homes, families, finances, their goings and their comings. In Jesus' name...Amen.
