Quacking Up

Jadon has really been enjoying our company this week :) We've been out and about every day with Michelle and Mackenzie. On Tuesday, Jadon enjoyed feeding the pigeons at Market Square in Charleston, SC, and yesterday he loved feeding the ducks at Broadway @ the Beach in Myrtle Beach. Daddy said he was laughing a lot more, when he first saw them (I missed it though), but I was able to catch a few seconds of the absolute cuteness on video.

Jadon has had a few more "firsts" lately that I'm not sure I've mentioned. He's now waving hello and goodbye to everyone all of the time (even to himself in the mirror), he can point at things he wants us to see (like babies going by in strollers), he says "dogdogdogdog", when he sees a doggie, he says "titititi" at the cat ("kitty kitty"), and yesterday he did the sign for milk, much to his enjoyment (because Mommy gleamed with joy and kept doing it with him...yay, baby!)...I think he's trying to get me to extend breastfeeding past his first birthday by being extra cute. I don't think it's gonna happen. Sorry, baby :/ But you are completely adorable, and I love you so much!!!

Oh yeah, and Jadon made a friend in Charleston, SC with a fellow Caucapino baby (1/2 Caucasian, 1/2 Filipino...yeah, I made that up, so don't use the term...you may offend someone). How cute is this little guy??? He just turned two, and his parents said he had the same amount of hair as Jadon, when he was nine months. Uh...FYI: I think I'm gonna be even more obsessed with Jadon, when he has that much hair!!! How stinkin' cute is that??? (By the way, the mom was white and the dad was Filipino, and the baby's name is Wilson...adorable!!!) P.S. I need more Caucapino babies...like now!

Yay! Now I can keep up with YOU! So good to know your life is viewable on the internet :) Haha.

Seriously though, thanks for the message and the encouragement. You guys are awesome and look like you are doing great which is fantastic!

Btw, are you at Frontline at McClain Bible Church? My brother and his wife just started going there and joined a small group - yay!

Lauren, Jamie and I did attend Frontline, when we were living in the DC area. We LOVED it! Todd Phillips is an amazing pastor, and the worship team is unmatchable (no offense CRC) ;) You can actually watch their service live on Sundays @ 5:30pm with your brother in the audience :) The link is on my blog page. Can't wait to see pics of Anna!!!
