We have had such a great week! Jadon turned one on the 27th, of course :) To celebrate, Jamie and I took him swimming for the first time, and he LOVED it. We've been back several times, since then, and will likely be there five days/week all summer. Later that day, we took Jadon to Market Common to watch his favorite fountains ;) and check out some books at Barnes & Noble. He can handle about 15-20 minutes of allowing us to show him things, before he wants to tear the place apart, and we have to leave.
Gramma and Grandpa couldn't wait to go swimming with Jadon too, so we spent Saturday afternoon there again. Jadon had so much fun in his tube...he likes to lay back and relax. All that's missing is a cold bottle of milk :)
We celebrated Gramma's birthday on Sunday by going out to eat at La Playa in Pawleys Island. Can you believe she's 65??? You don't look a day over 51 Mom ;) I'm kidding, of course.
On Tuesday, Daddy was off work, so we took a road trip to Charleston, SC (our favorite). We stopped in Mount Pleasant to eat at the Charleston Cafe, and while Jadon read his book upside-down, Jamie and I hung out with Bill Murray!!! That's right, Bill Murray...from Ghostbusters, What About Bob?, and Groundhog Day! Ha! Kinda surreal, but kind of not a big deal...mainly just a big deal to get a pic for Jadon's blog ;) Turns out he has a house in Charleston. Not much else to say about old Bill...he's...hmmm...well, he's kind of weird, to be honest. Cool to see him there, nonetheless ;)
After we hung out with Bill for a while, we told him we had to get going, so Jadon could play in the fountains in downtown Charleston. He LOVED it!

Can I just say how much I love my life in South Carolina? I am truly blessed and so thankful to have all that I do (a wonderful husband, a beautiful baby boy, family who love us, a home to call our own, two cars, food, clothing, sunshine 95% of the time, etc.). Thank you, God :) Another baby on the way is just more than I could have ever dreamed of. My cup runneth over with the blessings the Lord has granted me :)
