Full House

I know it has taken me FOREVER to write a blog, and believe me, I have a million things to write about...but here goes...

Jamie's family arrived in South Carolina on July 18th :) We LOVED seeing everyone, and having them here in our house...wish we could continue to wake up to them in our living room each morning :( But they had to go back to California on July 26th...boo!!!

We had a great time with them, while they were here. Here are some of the things we did: took a carriage ride in Charleston, went to the South Carolina Aquarium, walked around Broadway at the Beach, Allen & Lily went for bike rides and to the pool, Jamie, Justin, Allen & Lily went to the Hard Rock theme park, shopped at both Tanger outlet locations (Grandma and Auntie Pistang spent HOURS in Vanity Fair and got lots of great deals ;), Jamie grilled the most amazing steaks on our grill at home, Jadon ate corn on the cob for the first time all by himself, ate at Drunken Jacks at the Murrells Inlet marsh, ate at 82 Queen in the French Quarter of Charleston, walked around Market Common and, yes, ate again..this time at Gordon Biersch, Allen and Lily got thier picture taken with a monkey at Barefoot Landing, Jadon and I took our morning walks with Aunt Lily, Grandma and Auntie Pistang on different days...what else??? I have to say that the VERY BEST part of the entire trip was watching Jadon spend time with his family :) He was not shy at all, just his usual chipper and outgoing self...and, of course, a bit fussy, when he was tired and saw his mommy walk by. I hope they feel they got to know him, as he is now at 14 months. Lord knows, he'll likely have a completely different personality, by the time next summer rolls around. The terrible twos AND a big brother by then! Love you all soooo much!
