An Outfit from Sally at Sunset

We just happened to be outside at Gramma's the other night, when God painted the most beautiful sunset for us to use as a backdrop for a few pictures. Thankfully, I also happened to have my camera in the car and Macy happened to be wearing this adorable outfit, a gift from our friend Sally.

P.S. Jadon is soooo rotten! Poor, poor Macy. She is his biggest fan, despite all he puts her through.

Freestyle for Five

The past Sunday was the last day for guests at Freestyle Music Park for the summer. They were kind enough to give locals the amazing deal of $5.00/person, if you brought your church bulletin with you. They also hosted the worship bands from from two of the largest local churches and a few local Christian bands. The music was AWESOME, and did I mention we got in for $5??? How could we pass it up?

It was so nice to be able to drive five minutes from our house, listen to our favorite songs played live, enjoy the warm end of summer weather, while riding rides with our favorite little boy, and stroll our sweet baby Bleu. It's these small perks I love about living in Myrtle Beach. Here are the pics:

Oh how I love my family...soooo much!

Salamanca Vacation '09

The relatives came (Nanay, Tatay, Kuya Justin, Uncle Allen, Auntie Lily and baby Sydney in the womb). They were here from July 18-30. We ate at way too many restaurants, traveled to Asheville, NC to the Biltmore Estates and also to Chimney Rock and Lake Lure, NC. There were movies watched, a new flat screen TV bought (thank you!!!), shopping at the mall and outlets, a trip or two to the beach, two cookouts at Gramma and Grandpa's house, lots of playtime with Macy and Jadon, and many memories made. We love and miss you all so much, and can't wait to see you (plus baby Sydney!!!) next year! We are so very grateful for our families on both Coasts :)

...and the Living Is Easy

It's not a bad gig living here in the South, especially when we have two little kids to keep entertained. Saturday, the pool. Sunday, church and playin' outside. Tuesday, FREE fireworks and fun outside until 11pm. Thursday, the beach...

After the fireworks on Tuesday night, Jadon ran around and tested out some of the rides at Broadway at the Beach. Even though it was a late night (until 11pm), Jadon and Macy both did great, and neither of them cried the entire time we were out...way past their bedtimes. My pics of the fireworks are AWEFUL, but I was able to capture the awe in Jadon's eyes still. Jadon was EXHAUSTED, after the pool on Saturday and the beach today. He was out within 30 minutes of coming home both times...on Saturday with Gramma and today in Macy's swing with her caterpillar.
