Our little girl is most certainly growing! I feel her moving constantly, and Jamie can always put his hand on my belly and feel her now too. Although he talks to her a lot, I remind him that she can only here my voice from the inside right now, and it will be another two weeks, before she can hear outside voices. He says it doesn't matter because she can feel the vibrations ;)
Imitation is flattery, so Jadon is always lifting up my shirt and kissing and talking to my belly too :) He is sooo cute! The funniest thing was seeing him lift up Grandpa's shirt the other day and start talking to it. Hahahaha! I can't convince him that Grandpa doesn't have a baby in there though ;)
This fairly rapid growth spurt has definitely caused some difficulty sleeping lately. For whatever reason, different parts of my body (mostly my arms???) keep falling asleep in the middle of the night, which is SOOO uncomfortable. I literally toss and turn all night long now. I do have a Snoogle pregnancy pillow that Jamie bought for me, when I was pregnant with Jadon, but I am hesitant to unpack it from the garage, since Jadon is still in the bed with us (all our idea, not his...he could definitely sleep in his own bed, as far as he cares). His room is just too far away from ours and near the front door of the house, and I just know one day, he will figure out how to open it...scares me to death, and no, I cannot sleep with a monitor on. I can hear EVERY little noise with it, and it drives me crazy. So for now (and likely not much longer) the Snoogle pillow remains packed away, as I struggle to get comfortable at night.
What will I do with TWO babies in my room in a few months??? LOVE every minute of it! :) At this point, both Jamie and I have forgotten what it is like to sleep next to each other, and are content going to sleep next to a kitty-breath toddler and waking up with a finger in our eye, as Jadon says, "Ice." One day I will wish he was small enough to crawl into our bed and not care to have his mommy and daddy snuggled up next to him.
