Shots, Round 3

Macy had a well baby visit on Thursday, 08/27. We didn't even attempt to take Jadon. We're just playing with fire taking him into a doctor's office, when we always seem to have to sit around in the tiny room for a minimum of 30 minutes. Ummm...they do realize we're dealing with babies/toddlers here, right???

Anyway, now that Macy is nearly 7 months old, she can be quite the little handful herself! She squirmed more than she ever has, going from sitting to crawling position on the table every 10 seconds. She went to war with the sterile paper too. The paper most certainly lost. I was ready to yell out the door and tell the doctor, I may lose my mind, if he took another five minutes! Good thing she's cute as a button :)

Here are her stats:

Weight --- 16lbs. 5 oz. (55th percentile)

Length --- 27" (90th percentile)

Head Circumference --- 17" (75th percentile)

I suppose it's sort of a tradition now for me to video my kids getting their shots. Hopefully there are no emotional scars later on...images of Mommy with a camera, as they lay on an exam table kicking and screaming :/ Ah well...here's the clip.

Just as we knew, Macy has "thinned out" lately. Each week seems to offer it's own varying degree of baby chub, depending on how much she's eaten and crawled. We were surprised to see that her head was so large because her face looks so tiny, compared to other babies. The nurse said it may be because she is more in proportion than other babies. Could be. We're happy. She's healthy, cute, sweet, smiley, growing, etc. We are thankful to God for all of these things, and ask for His continued provision. What more could we ask for than healthy, happy babies? Life is good :)
