Jadon was never one of those babies who liked to dance and sing. He still doesn't dance, other than while singing "If You're Happy and You Know It" or "Heads, Shoulders, Knees and Toes," but in the last few months, he has started singing on a daily basis, and it is one of my absolute favorite things he does. The nursery rhyme/children's songs are cute, but the best is hearing him sing along to his videos, especially "La la lala, la la lala, Elmo's world," the theme song to Veggie Tales, and my personal favorite "Life is a highway...I wanna drive it all night long" from the movie Cars (still need video of that).
Here are a few clips from last night of him singing, in order to get out of going to bed. I had put my camera down and said, "Okay, time for bed," and he started belting out random songs and looked at me as if to say, "Aren't you going to tape this?" So I did, and then at the end of singing "Jesus Loves Me," (which he was half-focused on singing) he had one of the CUTEST interactions with Macy that I have ever caught on camera. Don't ya just love when that happens?
The sweetest part of having two babies is watching them bond and welcome each other into their world. I pray their bond is stronger than any other for many, many years to come. So thankful for this life.
