Aloha!

On Saturday, our development at "The Farm" had an organized luau for all of the residents. We had such a fun evening! We ate hamburgers, hot dogs, and good old southern barbequed pig :) It really was a great time!

We spent most of the afternoon talking to a couple who attend our church, but the best part was spending time with Redsie (more to come on her later). She is a resident here at the Farm who turns 67 today (Happy B-day, Redsie!). You can find her everyday riding her three-wheeled bike around "ten to fifteen miles a day." I am always so happy to find her outside, when I am walking Jadon :)

Anyway, Redsie had asked me a few weeks ago if she could help Jadon with the games at the luau. She would ask Jadon, "Do you want me to win you a prize? a little toy? Do you, baby Jadon?" She's absolutely adorable, and we love her :)

So here are a few pics, one of Jadon sweating his little face off (as usual) and playing with the pine cones (Jamie calls him "nature boy" and says he is going to be a botanist, when he gets older), and another picture of Redsie and Jadon and him holding his prize she won him :) She could not have been any prouder of herself, and neither could we :)
