Independence Day

We decided against venturing out to watch the fireworks here in Myrtle Beach, since Fourth of July week is the busiest week of the year here. That, and the fact that Jadon's bedtime is around 10pm, and we figured we'd just end up more frustrated at ourselves and him that we didn't just stay home, so that's what we did.

Lucky for us, some awesome people on each side of our development set off some amazingly large and very pretty lights in the sky, so we got to watch from our driveway at the very reasonable time of 8:30pm :) How nice was that??? Jamie was outside moving the sprinklers around (as always), and he called for me and Jadon to come out to watch. It was so fun to see Jadon's face! He LOVED them! He sat on Daddy's shoulders and told stories (nothing we could understand), as he pointed to each one. Adorable! One of my favorite 4th of Julys ever, hands down!
