Jadon developed quite a love for his baby, Elmo. Macy's new swing is now together and has been put in the living room, so Jadon can get used to it. He's been practicing pushing his baby Elmo in it everyday. I can't say he's grasped the concept of "easy." Sometimes Elmo goes flying out onto the floor, and Jadon gets mad when Elmo won't sit in the swing the correct way :/ At least he's learned to hug and kiss him a lot, and he now sleeps with him at naps and bedtime. Here is how I found him Friday night, just before Jamie and I went to bed:
We've also been working on the concept of "sshhh" this week. We really don't have a problem with Jadon being loud at home too often. We just thought, in case we ever have an episode of using an "outside voice" while we're "inside" in public, he had better learn the concept. This clip pretty much sums up how it's going:

This clip pretty much sums up how it's going:And yesterday, while Jamie and I went on what is likely our last date, before Macy arrives, Gramma and Grandpa took Jadon to the convention center for the boat show. This is a pic of Jadon on a four-wheeler that Gramma took on her cell phone. Apparently everyone (even several men) there thought Jadon was absolutely adorable and couldn't get enough of him. Jadon surely was as oblivious as ever, enjoying playing on each and every boat that he was allowed to climb onto. At any rate, Jamie and I were happy to have had one last date and peace of mind knowing that Jadon was enjoying himself just right down the road.
And while I was snooping around on Gramma's cell phone, I found this adorable pic of Jadon from September :) I had never seen it, but I'm certain it is my arm in the left-hand side of the pic. Sucha cutie!
